NOTICE OF RACE
1. Place and Date
Balatonföldvár, Hungary, April 26–28 2013.
The regatta is governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing 2013–2016 (RRS), the OPTIMIST class rules, the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions.
Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing committee.
Every participant should be member of his/her national association. Each yacht shall have a valid measurement certificate.

before April 20th, 2013 (post stamp). All entries must be personally confirmed in the Race Office (registration) not later than April 25th, 2013, 8:00 pm. The organisers may accept late entries with double entry fee.
The entry fee is EUR 50 payable in the Race Office upon registration.
6. Sailing Instructions
Sailing instructions will be at the sailors disposal in the Race Office starting from 5 pm April 25th 2013.
7. Schedule of races
Seven (7) races scheduled if possible. Start of the first race is scheduled on April 26th 2013 at 10 am. No warning signal will be made after 3 pm on the last day of the regatta.
Optimists will sail the IODA Championship course.
Low Point System according to Appendix A RRS will apply. Three (3) races required to be completed to constitute a series. When fewer than five (5) races have been completed, a boatʼs series score will be the total of her race scores. If 5 to 7 races are sailed one discard will be allowed.
10. Racing area
Racing area will be on lake Balaton near Balatonföldvár.

12. Support boats
Every support boat needs registration on Lake Balaton and has to pay 130 €/ boat to the National Transport Authority. The balance of fees and the completed registration form shall be received on or before March 15, 2013. The expiry of the registrationʼs validity period is July 15, 2013.
Each participating boat, including support boats, shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of € 1.500.000 per event or the equivalent.
